Ghanaian duo Reggie ‘N’ Bollie shot to fame back in 2015 when they were contestants on the X Factor. The lovable rap duo were mentored into second place by Cheryl.
Since coming second on the ITV talent show the boys have released two hit singles; ‘New Girl‘, and ‘Link Up‘, and their debut album is due for release in 2017.
The lads have also built up a very supportive and loyal fanbase since their X Factor days, and one of those fans is the owner of the RnB update Twitter account @WWReggieNBollie.
We wanted to find out everything about what it takes to run an update account so we have had a chat with Keely, who is the account owner.
Hi Keely, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself?
Hi, I’m Keely, I am 23, and I am from Cheshire (North West).
Can you explain how and when you first become a fan of Reggie ‘N’ Bollie?
I first became a fan of Reggie ‘N’ Bollie when I was watching their first audition on the X Factor at home.
Why are you a fan of Reggie ‘N’ Bollie?
I am a fan of Reggie ‘N’ Bollie for so many reasons, but to name a few; they are unique, they have a positive vibe, they always make me smile and make me happy. There is no one [else] like them around in the music industry they are original. They always make time for their fans.
What made you want to run an update account for Reggie ‘N’ Bollie?
I wanted to run an update account for Reggie ‘N’ Bollie because I wanted to run a page to keep their fans updated on gigs/photo-shoots/interviews etc so then I could help fans to meet Reggie ‘N’ Bollie and to see them perform at gigs. I also wanted somewhere that I could post pictures/updates and answer questions. I enjoy helping other people. I also get to run a page for Reggie ‘N’ Bollie and I have been a fan of them since their very first audition. This update page is for The fans of Reggie ‘N’ Bollie, Reggie ‘N’ Bollie and their family and I really enjoy running this page I have so much fun.
Roughly how much time do you spend running your account?
I try to spend as much time as possible running my update account.
Do you have anyone who runs the account for you if for some reason you are away?
[no] I don’t have anyone else who runs my update account if I’m away.
How many followers do you currently have and do they talk to you and ask you things?
I currently have about 270 followers and they do interact with me and ask me things and I try to help them in any and every way possible.
Would you say you have met any friends online through your account?
I haven’t really met any friends online through my account but I would like to maybe one day.
Do you prefer to just write updates or post pictures on you account?
I prefer to post a mixture of written updates and post pictures on my account.
Have Reggie ‘N’ Bollie ever noticed your account? If yes how did it feel?
Reggie ‘N’ Bollie have noticed my account at least once before and it made me feel so happy I honestly couldn’t stop smiling.
What is your favourite Reggie ‘N’ Bollie song?
‘New Girl’ and ‘Link Up’ are both amazing songs I can’t pick just one they are both so different. When I listen to ‘New Girl’ I think of summer and ‘Link Up’, Reggie ‘N’ Bollie put their own spin on a Peter Andre song and I love it song much.
What is your favourite thing about Reggie ‘N’ Bollie?
It’s hard to think of just one favourite thing because I have so many. To name just one would be how they always interact with their supporters/fans. But I could name so many more.
If you could say one thing to Reggie ‘N’ Bollie what would it be?
If I could say one thing to Reggie ‘N’ Bollie it would be; To thank them for all of there support towards me and my update page and they have also made me believe in my dreams and to never give up so thank you so much to Reggie ‘N’ Bollie and to both of your families love from WWReggieNBollie.
