DC Release First Justice League Trailer at Comic Con

Hot on the heels of the Wonder Woman trailer, DC have released their second trailer of the day in the form of footage from the much anticipated and long awaited Justice League.

Justice League is the Avengers of the DC Universe, except with an arguably more iconic line up that features household names Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman alongside Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg. The film will see Ben Affleck’s Batman bring together the Super Hero Team, and will also star Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher and Jason Momoa, as well as Henry Cavill as Super Man, though he failed to make an appearance in the trailer.

Zach Snyder, the man behind Man of Steel and the critically panned Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, has returned to the helm of director despite the negative reception to Batman vs Superman. Justice League went in to production before the release of Batman vs Snyder, which was met with a less than lukewarm reception from fans and critics, and it was thought that the poor reception and underwhelming world wide gross of Batman Vs Superman might effect the Justice League film (Sure, the film grossed over 800 million dollars, but it was expected to do a lot better than that, and hopes where that it would cross the billion dollar mark), but the first teaser trailer has set a very high standard for the Justice League film, and has alleviated a lot of the scepticism that was born from the poor reaction to Batman Vs Superman (although the fact that the recently released extended Directors Cut is widely regarded as a much better film than the cinematic release also helped in that aspect, too).

However, some fans are still understandably nervous, especially with the pre-release trailers of Batman vs Superman leading to high expectations that many would say the film did not meet.

Justice League is set to hit cinemas on November 17th, 2017, and the full trailer can be viewed below.

What do you think? Will this be the DC Film the world deserves, or is another negative reaction awaiting DC and Zach Synder? Let us know on Twitter @CelebMix.
