I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here is one of the biggest shows the people of Britain enjoy every single year and it’s partly down to its hosts.
Since 2002, people have loved watching celebrities getting frightened by bugs and laughed at by the cheeky Ant and Dec.
However, Dec’s co-host Ant McPartlin has sent himself to a rehabilitation centre to recover from his addiction problems.
Fans of I’m A Celebrity have been worried about the show’s future since one-half of the duo is currently out of action.
Recently, rumours circulated online that This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby could possibly take Ant’s place for this year’s series.
Although nothing has been confirmed, Dec has adamantly refused to host any show without his partner while he recovers.
However, he is confident his best friend will be fully well again in time to honour his commitments.
Speaking to The Mirror, a close friend of the star stated: “Dec wouldn’t work on screen without Ant on any major show and he has said the last thing he would do is go to Australia without him.”
“To say he would consider working with Holly was ridiculous. He is a good friend of hers but he would not do that to Ant.”
“Ant and Dec are a team with a huge emotional bond, they are like brothers and Dec will only be hosting I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here with Ant by his side”
“They’ve got months yet to sort things out and the hope is that Ant will bounce back with another hit series of I’m A Celebrity and they will move on from this chapter in their career”.
The bosses of ITV have offered Ant a year off work but it has been reported that they believe he will be ready to host again.
They have not made a shortlist of potential replacement hosts and are willing to wait until Ant is fighting fit again.
We just hope that Ant fully recovers and is back on our tellies in the near future. Please use Ant as inspiration to get the help of your own for your problems if you need to.
