Demi Lovato Releases Music Video for ‘Stone Cold’ Single

Demi Lovato released the music video for her most recent single ‘Stone Cold’ yesterday, and it is very emotional. We may or may not have cried.

The single is the newest release from her album ‘Confident’ which came out back in October 2015.

Demi has said in a Facebook post that the song is her “favourite song on the album and the most emotional video [she’s] ever shot”.

The video itself features Demi fully clothed in a bath tub with mascara running down her face. This scene occasionally switches to another scene of Demi in a snowy landscape. The video and song was so emotional for the singer that she sheds a tear towards the end.

Not only is the studio version of the song a great hit, Demi’s live performances of the single are breathtaking, especially most recently on ‘The Ellen Show’.

The vocals in the song are outstanding, with Demi hitting a few high notes along the way. The lyrics are also quite personal, perhaps almost as personal as in her previous hits ‘Warrior’ and ‘Skyscraper’. Both of these songs spoke about her struggles with bipolar disorder.

Demi is also a well-known advocate for many mental health organisations, including ‘Be Vocal, Speak Up’, an organisation that encourages people to speak about their issues in order to gain help.

Although the lyrics come across that Demi is going through a difficult break-up, the artist is in fact in a happy committed relationship with partner Wilmer Valderrama. She even made a couple of jokes in regards to engagement rumours on ‘The Ellen Show’.
