Demi Lovato belted the National Anthem for a packed arena at the Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor fight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday night. Not only did Lovato impress the fans in the arena, but she left fans around the world in awe.
Moments before her big performance, the Grammy-nominated artist told MTV that she was nervous about singing the anthem before the big fight, admitting in the past that she’s a huge fan of the sport herself.Lovato told MTV, “I feel so nervous but I’m really, really excited! This is the biggest fight of our generation! So, when you look at it that way and how many fans all over the world are going to be watching, it’s nerve wracking for sure.”
Demi has a big weekend ahead, as the “Cool For The Summer” singer announced earlier this week she’d be performing at the 2017 MTV VMAs on Sunday August 27th.Demi Lovato’s new album Tell Me You Love Me is available worldwide Sept. 29.
