Betty Who, released her latest single Ignore Me last Friday.
She got her break when a cover of her song Somebody Loves You soundtracked a YouTube clip of a gay marriage proposal which went viral and is at nearly 15 million views.
From here she was picked up by RCA. Betty independently released her first EP The Movement EP, the 2nd EP Slow Dancing, was released via RCA Records and debuted at #1 on the iTunes Pop Chart.
Her second album ‘The Valley’ came out in March last year, and includes her double platinum cover of Donna Lewis’ “I Love You Always Forever”.
Betty came over to the UK for shows including The Great Escape and a sold out London headline show which we did in partnership with pop music blog, EQ Music.
She featured on the Troye Silvan album. Betty has supported the likes of Katy Perry, Kiezsa, Kylie Minogue and several sold-out US headline shows and festivals including Lollapalooza.
