Winter Calling (formed in 2013) took the heavy rock scene by storm with their blend of progressive rock and old-school metal.
In March of 2015, Winter Calling released their debut album, As Darkness Falls, along with a promotional video for their first single, “The Stand.” As Darkness Falls has been described by New Noise Magazine as “a band firing on all pistons, with one exceptional song after another.”
AXS.com says “Winter Calling are true kings of what they do, and their album is worth getting.” While Wonderbox Metal listed the maiden effort on their Top 30 Metal Albums of 2015 list, coming in at 13. Now CelebMix is saying, “check these guys out!”
The band even got artist David Ho (who has worked with Sony Music, Seether, Soulfly, Heavy Metal magazine) to design their cover art below for their latest album FACES.
But this heavy band doesn’t just do their own music, some of the members also write and record music for film and network television such as for ABC, Fox, Netflix, and Freeform.
