There has been much anticipation over who will be the voice of Disney’s next princess. Will it be someone we know or will they bring on a newcomer? Moana is about a young Polynesian teen from 2,000 years ago who goes on a quest to fulfill her ancestor’s destiny. The fan favorite contender for the role was for Fifth Harmony’s very own Polynesian Princess, Dinah Jane Hansen. But, Disney Animation has been on the hunt to find the voice for this lead role and they found her voice!
Disney’s first Polynesian princess will be voiced by 14-year old Hawaiian newcomer, Auli’I Cravalho!
Cravalho is set to work alongside Dwayne Johnson who plays a demigod named Maui. We are very excited for Auli’i and this movie! Disney’s Moana will set sail November 23rd, 2016.
