After much anticipation (and a LOT of teasing on social media), DNCE and Nicki Minaj have finally unveiled the official music video for their hot summer track, ‘Kissing Strangers’.
DNCE sure know how to party, therefore it’s no surprise that the ‘Kissing Strangers’ video is based around a party held by the band. Directed by Marc Klasfeld, the video sees frontman Joe Jonas riding round town on a bike, handing out leaflets for the party before heading to the local convenience store to stock up on supplies. Watch out for a special cameo from Jeremy the Poodle, who played Nicki in the ‘Kissing Strangers’ lyric video!

He meets up with Cole at the store, who gets more than a little distracted when the store attendant takes him into the photo booth for a make out sesh. Once they’re at the party, we see JinJoo playing spin the bottle before heading for seven minutes in heaven with Mcabe Gregg, best known for starring in Shameless. Jack, on the other hand, is busy partying and playing cards with Harlen the Golden Retriever, who played him in the lyric video. Faith and Krysta Alaniz also make an appearance in the video, having a fun time with Cole.
Later, the band perform ‘Kissing Strangers’ before Queen Nicki Minaj makes her entrance which leaves everyone a little flustered, none more so than Joe Jonas. After teasing that she’d roughed him up a little, Nicki grabs Joe by the collar, but how does the evening continue? You’ll have to watch to find out!

This music video is everything we could have hoped for and more, and is bound to give the song the boost it deserves. ‘Kissing Strangers’ is the hottest bop on the block, and we can’t wait to hear it live this summer during DNCE’s string of festival appearances. The band will also be supporting Bruno Mars on the South America leg of his 24K Magic World Tour.
