Earlier this week, rapper and model Don Benjamin was crowned the winner of VH1’s Scared Famous. The TV show saw ten contestants move into a haunted American mansion, in the hope of winning up to $100,000 for a charity of their choice.

After completing various horror movie inspired challenges, Don beat off stiff competition from the likes of Alaska Thunderfuck, Tiffany Pollard and Sky Days to win the cash prize for his chosen charity, Peace Over Violence.

Yesterday (December 15), Don presented his winnings to the charity. Peace Over Violence is “a nonprofit 501c3, multicultural, community based and volunteer centered organization dedicated to a building healthy relationships, families and communities free from sexual, domestic and interpersonal violence.”

In addition to competing on Scared Famous, Don has been extremely busy as of late. He’s just released his latest single ‘No One’, which features singer/actress/fashionista extraordinaire Liane V, who also happens to be his girlfriend. The duo regularly post great YouTube videos which cover relationship topics.

Don is best known for being a finalist on the 2013 season of America’s Next Top Model. He also starred as Ariana Grande’s love interest in the ‘Into You’ music video and has served as the face of Guess, True Religion and more.
