One episode into The Voice UK‘s seventh series and they may have found a star already, in the form of Donel Mangena.
The 16-year-old stole the show with his rendition of Major Lazers ‘Cold Water’ and after having each turnaround, had the judges clambering to get him on their team. After a particularly impassioned plea, the youngster decided to join Will.i.am’s team, and we think this is a perfect pairing after seeing how passionate Will is of his contestants.
The panel was as fabulous as ever with the addition of Olly Murs, creating a great dynamic between the coaches. Other notable moments of the episode were an exceptional audition by Weymouth singer Lauren Bannon and performances by the coaches, including an impromptu Tom Jones and J Hud duet.
