Drake is hosting a dance event in Houston tomorrow night (September 5th).
The rapper announced the mysterious venture on his Instagram page.
“HOUSTON TEXAS…On September 5th we are giving you a chance to experience something that’s here to stay…THE BALLET…10pm”
‘The Ballet’ is described as being a ‘new dance experience’ and will be held at the Toyota Center in Houston between 10pm and 2am, just one day after Drake’s show at the venue, as part of his Summer Sixteen tour.
Further details of the event are yet to be revealed.
Fans wondering why Drake chose Houston to launch ‘The Ballet’ need only listen to the man himself.
The Toronto rapper was keen to acknowledge his ties to the city during his sold out show there on Friday night.
“I know I was born in Toronto. But I’ve said time and time again my career was really started in Houston” he told the crowd.
“This is the place where Jas Prince introduced me to Lil Wayne. This is the place I had my first sold out show at Warehouse Live. This a place I got in my heart forever.”
