Years & Years bassist Mikey Goldsworthy might have accidentally announced that Dua Lipa is recording the new James Bond theme song.
During an interview with BBC Radio 5 Live, Goldsworthy said that he hoped the band would be asked to record the next James Bond theme song but he said that Dua Lipa already took that role. Goldsworthy said, “I thought they’d ask us to do the theme song, but alas, I think Dua Lipa is doing it.”
After some silence, the radio host said that Goldsworthy just let that secret out, “Am I not supposed to say that? That’s what I’ve heard,” he replied. “I feel bad now, maybe I’ve ruined everything. Well, hopefully then we can do it!”
