Dua Lipa’s hit single, “New Rules” has officially hit 1.5 billion views on YouTube. The song also has 8.5 million likes along with over 270,000 comments.

The music video was uploaded to the site on July 7th, 2017. The song was definitely considered a summer hit and continues to have people dancing and singing along.
Shot at The Confidante in Miami Beach, Florida, Dua, along with other women are seen dancing throughout the music video in robes and bathing suits. The aesthetic of the music video is very pleasing and it features bright colors, Dua walking on water, and flamingos.
While watching a behind the scene video, Dua and her friends were actually walking on clear tables that were under the water, which made it look like she was actually walking on water. How cool!
The song peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 the week of February 17th, 2018 and continued to be on the Hot 100 after that.
