Production on the upcoming “Jumanji” movie is now well underway and we have been keeping our eyes firmly on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Instagram account for all the latest behind-the-scenes gossip. He has posted numerous updates since filming began in Hawaii a few weeks ago but it is his most recent post which really got us excited.
The producer and lead actor in the movie has finally revealed the first official picture of Nick Jonas in action, and we are very pleased!
While Johnson doesn’t give away too many details about the 24-year-old singer’s character in the movie, he does welcome him with open arms and it sounds like the pair have quite the bromance forming off camera. We can’t wait to see how it all plays out on screen with Jonas playing the character of Alex in the movie which is set to premiere in December 2017.
This isn’t the first time that Johnson has revealed exclusives about the film, which is a re-imagining of the 1995 classic. He posted the first picture of the lead cast (excluding Jonas who was promoting another of his movies at the time) on his Instagram account a week ago and assured us that their amusing outfits would all make sense once the plot is revealed.
Nick Jonas has also been getting in on the action by posting pictures of his time on set with his co-stars. His Snapchat stories over the last few days have been full of clips featuring Kevin Hart and he recently posted this funny picture on Instagram of himself and Jack Black in between takes:
It looks like the cast are all getting along with each other both on and off camera, and their updates are only making us more and more excited to see the finished product.
