Star of popular novel-turned-Netflix-series 13 Reasons Why is a man of many talents.
Dylan Minnette, who portrays Clay Jensen in the company’s latest breakout hit just released a single with his band Wallows. The song, titled “Pleaser” possesses a buoyant, underground-esque style so pure and seasoned. We can’t help but have major Killers vibes from circa early 2000s.
Following the track’s release earlier this week, the 20-year-old took to social media to share the new bop and and its available streaming services.

Minnette fulfills vocal duties and plays guitar for Wallows alongside three close pals. Rounding out the foursome are Cole Preston, Braeden Lemasters and Zack Mendenhall.
Though this is technically their “first single,” the boys have been working on their craft for nearly seven years under the names The Feaver and The Narwhals. They were even featured on the 2014 soundtrack of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, starring Steve Carrell and Jennifer Garner. Minnette had a role in the film as well.
The actor plans to continue balancing both arts, just as he has always implemented. With the great success of 13 Reasons Why, fans are hoping to see the series pick up right where it left off.

“I think that everyone would love to do another one, if we’re given the opportunity,” Minnette spilled about whether or not he would be interested in filming a second season. “I think when people see where it leaves off, people are going to want to know more about these characters and what’s next for them. There is a possibility.”
