Ed Sheeran is the gift that just keeps on giving. Ever since his return to music at the start of the year, Ed has been dominating the charts with his singles ‘Shape Of You’ and ‘Castle On The Hill’. Today, the singer has treated us once again, this time with the release of a music video for ‘Shape Of You’.
The video mainly takes place in a boxing gym, where you see Ed learning to box. Directed by Jason Koenig, we see a developing relationship between Ed and a woman (Jennie Pegouskie) after training together. Unfortunately, Ed is left heartbroken when she decides to leave and start again somewhere new.
At the end of the video, Ed takes to the boxing ring to let out his frustration and has a bit of a surprise to say the least! We won’t spoil the ending but we’re pretty sure you’re going to enjoy it.

Last week, Ed dropped a nostalgic music video for ‘Castle On The Hill’ which has already garnered almost 20 million views. The singer’s success with his new music shows no sign of slowing down just yet, as he’s just racked up a third week at number one and two in the UK singles chart.
Ed also recently announced a world tour, which begins in Europe in March. He has 14 dates planned for the UK and Ireland spanning across April. Tickets for the tour go on sale on February 2 at 10am, with a limited number of seats available for sale on January 31. The tour will be in support of his third album ÷ [Divide] which is due for release on 3 March.
We’re only a month into the new year, but Ed is already giving us plenty to smile about and be excited for! Share your thoughts on Ed Sheeran’s music video for ‘Shape Of You’ with us on Twitter @CelebMix
