Singer Ed Sheeran has been confirmed to appear on one of Britain’s much-loved TV programmes, Gogglebox, and fans are pretty excited about the news.
The 26-year old will be on the show talking about the week’s best TV programmes like the usual cast do in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK’s Stand Up To Cancer campaign.
He said about the opportunity: “I’m such a huge fan of Gogglebox so it’s going to be weirdly surreal to actually be part of it with two of my closest friends”
“But when it’s for an incredible cause like Stand Up To Cancer how could we say no?”
Sure enough, he won’t be the only one chilling out on the famous sofas. He will be joined by rappers Example and Big Narstie.

Both artists are close friends with Ed Sheeran and have made some funny songs together like She Said I Was A Weirdo or the infamous The Nando’s Skank.
It has also been confirmed that former Oasis singer Liam Gallagher will take part in the special programme. He will appear alongside his mum Peggy and son Gene.
Liam, having just released his solo album As You Were, said: “It’s an honour and privilege to be invited on one of my favourite TV shows, the mighty Gogglebox, especially with my fam and for such a great cause as Stand up To Cancer.”
The Channel 4 show will also feature other famous faces such as; Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, actress Jessica Hynes, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne.
