Globally acclaimed singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding has delighted fans by announcing the release of her new album I Know Too Much. This marks the artist’s sixth studio album and will be released on September 4.
If that wasn’t enough, fans will also be able to download and stream the lead single ‘Black Prada Dress’ this Friday (June 5). Ellie debuted the song during her set at Radio 1’s Big Weekend over the May Bank Holiday and will also be performing the song on Later… with Jools Holland on June 7.
Ellie took to Instagram to share the exciting news along with the album artwork.
Speaking about the album, Ellie said: “Making this album allowed me to bring everything together honestly, like journaling through music, a collection of songs that represent a certain time in my life.”
“I have always loved exploring different sounds and tempo. The album came about from the idea that maybe we can know too much, freedom comes from the ease of not knowing…”
I Know Too Much marks Ellie’s first album since 2023’s Higher Than Heaven. Since then, she has released a number of collaborations including ‘Free’ with Calvin Harris, ‘Hypnotized’ with Anyma, and ‘Save My Love’ with Marshmello and Avalon. However, ‘Black Prada Dress’ will be kicking off Ellie’s new era and we can’t wait to hear what else she’s been working on.
