The Eurovision Song Contest 2017 have just released a brand video to explain the theme of this year’s contest.
The logo design is colourful and fun, based on a traditional necklace from the Ukraine which has been updated for the modern world. Also, the slogan for this year’s contest is ‘Celebrate Diversity’. This is extremely relevant in today’s world with so much uncertainty around. It shows that Eurovision is an event where people from countries all over Europe – and further afield – can come together and just have a good time.
The video goes on to show how the artwork will look on TV, using footage from last year’s contest.
It also looks like there will be plenty of new merchandise featuring the new artwork, including bags, pencils and even socks. We can’t wait to get our hands on it.
You can watch the video in full below:
The Eurovision Song Contest 2017 semi-finals will take place on 9 May 2017 and 11 May 2017, with the grand final expected to take place on 13 May 2017.
