Erica Dixon is a woman of many talents. The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star since her role in the show has gained new skills in motherhood, as an author of Southern Bell and as a businesswoman by launching her woman’s lifestyle brand Klass6. We spoke to her to find out more about what’s going on in her world right now.
Hi Erica, what’s going on in your world right now?
I’m living and succeeding!!!
We’ve heard you’re relaunching your hair collection soon, can you tell us a little bit about it?
Klass6 hair is being relaunched with me having complete creative control. I previously had a business partner and wanted to change some things.
Klass 6 is your own clothing line, why did you decide to launch it?
Klass6 clothing was created for the everyday woman with the message that you can be sexy without being naked.
In Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta you had to bare a lot of your personal life on the show, do you miss this element of the show or enjoy keeping your personal life a bit more personal?
At times I do miss baring my personal life on the show because so many related to me. I’ve gotten tons of emails from people saying I inspired them and helped overcome obstacles in their life.
You’re a woman of many talents, from acting to having your own book Southern Bell. Which project has been your favourite to work on so far?
My favorite has to be acting. I actually just finished a class. I think it’s awesome when you channel other characters and emotions.
Your daughter has read Southern Bell, but what messages are you trying to spread through the series?
The Southern Bell series is my life story via Bell. She is my voice.
What would you love to achieve in the next ten years?
I would love to have fulfilled my purpose in life in the next 10 years and that’s helping as many people as needed where I’m needed.
Do you have any final words for fans reading?
My final words to fans who are reading are… Never be afraid to be yourself. Own it and flaunt it.
