Fast rising musician/producer Shaydee has recently released his brand new single ‘Make Sense‘ featuring the legendary Wizkid.
Here we speak exclusively to Shaydee about his new music, musical inspirations, and much, much more;
Growing up who inspired your love of music?
Growing up I was inspired by the likes of Bob Marley, Fela Kuti, R Kelly, Stevie Wonder, Lauryn Hill to mention a few. They all had different unique styles but had one thing in common, a true passion for music.

How did the collaboration with Wizkid come about?
Wizkid is a former label mate but we have always been buddies first and foremost so the collab was pretty natural. we have a couple unreleased records as well.
What was it like working with Wizkid in the studio?
We have been working closely together for about 6 years now. We connect musically so it’s always a vibe.
What can fans expect from your track ‘Make Sense?
I hope the fans really vibe with it & make it go viral coz its amazing music. This is just one of the many records that I would be releasing for my fans over time so stay tuned.
Do you have any plans to tour?
Yeah for sure. The fans are the most important and travelling the world to see them would make us connect even better. Stay tuned to my social media platforms for more info.
Will you be releasing an album soon?
For now I’m just working on a bunch of records & vibing out. With time I’ll sit with my team and decide based on the feedback from the fans. Like I said earlier, the fans are the most important coz that’s why we do what we do. When I feel the time is right, I’ll definitely drop a body of work.
What do you hope to achieve over the next ten years?
Music is my life and I don’t intend to stop making the best music I can or stop improving myself & my craft. So in 10 years I still hope to be churning out dope tunes and rocking top stages.. There’s no limit.
