Tenille Arts is a rising country music sensation from Canada. She recently released her brand new single ‘Moment Of Weakness’ which she performed on the hit US reality show The Bachelor. The talented singer/songwriter has just released the deluxe version of her debut album ‘Rebel Child‘.
Growing up who inspired your love of country music?
The Dixie Chicks and Shania Twain were my biggest inspirations. My mom introduced me to country music!
Who are your all time musical heroes?
I’m a big Johnny Cash fan, but I appreciate a lot of different kinds of music and many songwriters. Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood are some amazing women in country music.
What would be your dream collaboration?
Miranda Lambert or Keith Urban for performances, but for writing it would by Liz Rose and Lori McKenna.
Your new single ‘Moment Of Weakness’ is out now, how excited are you by the reaction to the track?
Very excited! It has been so fun to meet and talk with new fans because of the performance on The Bachelor. I’m so happy that people are loving the song and the new “Rebel Child” Deluxe Album!
You premiered the song on The Bachelor how much fun was that?
It was amazing. The whole experience really exceeded my expectations. I got to have a viewing party in Nashville with close friends, family, and industry people and it was a great evening!
Can we expect any UK TV appearances from you soon?
I don’t have anything planned yet, but I’m hoping I’ll get to have a UK TV appearance very soon!
Do you have any touring plans lined up this year?
I have a few shows planned for the summer and I can’t wait to start announcing those!
So, what inspired your new single?
I wrote “Moment of Weakness” with Adam Wheeler and Rick Huckaby. We wanted to write a song about the moment when you finally let your guard down and allow yourself to fully fall in love.
What do you hope listeners take from your music?
I really hope listeners feel what I felt when I was writing the music. I’ve always loved how music can take you through so many different emotions and thoughts.
Can we expect another album from you soon?
I’m constantly writing and recording so that is definitely a possibility! We just released the Deluxe Edition of “Rebel Child” so I’m excited to share that for a while and get out on the road to meet new fans in person!
What are your 2018 career goals?
My 2018 goals are constantly changing and evolving, but I really want to meet and connect with more fans and have my first single at US country radio!
