Pop/rock band Just Seconds Apart are a rising trio consisting of 18-year-old triplets; Sela Poulosjsa, Ari Poulosjsa and Alex Poulosjsa. They recently released their brand new single ‘Santorini Dream’ and are currently on tour with Jesse McCartney.
Here we chat exclusively to Just Seconds Apart to talk musical inspirations, band formation, touring and more:
When growing up who inspired your love of music?
We weren’t as much inspired as it developed naturally for all three of us at the same time.
When did you guys decide to start a band?
For our eighth birthday, our grandma took us to a music store in Santa Fe, New Mexico and told us to pick any instrument we wanted. The rest is history!
How do your parents feel about your career plans?
They’re a thousand percent supportive! Our mom comes with us on tour (she’s driving right now actually haha) and our dad stays back in Arizona to take care of [the] dogs.
Do you feel being siblings helps you when creating new music?
Definitely, because of our understanding of each other.
How would you describe the overall vibe of your music to new listeners?
We have a pop/rock sound with catchy hooks and intriguing lyrics that connect along with our blood related three-part harmonies.
You are currently touring with Jesse McCartney, how did that come about?
We connected with Jesse’s team and it worked out for us!
What can fans expect from your set?
Our set is full of high energy and crowd engagement.
Can we expect a headlining tour soon from you three soon?
That’s the goal!
When can we expect to have new music from you?
Very soon!
What are your long-term career goals?
Continue to tour, meet new people, write and produce new music on a larger scale.
