Lexanna are a fast-rising country music sister duo coming out of America. They recently wrapped a tour with American Idol’s Cade Foehner and will be opening for multi-Grammy award-winning trio Lady Antebellum for Pepsi’s Country 4 Country.
Here we speak exclusively to sisters Lexi and Savanna AKA Lexanna to discuss touring, upcoming music and their 2019 summer plans:
You’ve recently wrapped a tour with Cade Foehner, what was that experience like?
It was an incredible first experience! We were able to get a lot of experience interacting on stage with each other and the crowd. We also had the opportunity to meet some really incredible fans that we are staying in touch with. We can’t wait for the next tour!
Is there a particular city that stood out for you girls?
We loved every city we got to perform in! There was something unique about each location. But I think we really had great experiences in Winchester, VA and Greenville, SC.
Now, you’re gearing up for the Pepsi Country 4 Country where you’ll be opening for Lady Antebellum, how did that come about?
We have been working really hard since we moved to Nashville making connections and getting ourselves out there. Luckily, we ended up with some close friends who helped help make that introduction to Pespi. We are so thankful to be included and also for the kindness we’ve been embraced with by Pepsi!
How excited are you to be opening for Lady A?
SO EXCITED! We have followed them from the start when they used to do their vlogs and know their newest single backward. We are big fans and on cloud 9 about being able to open for them.
Along with these live dates where else can we expect to see you this summer?
We will be at Country 4 Country on Sunday, July 21st and then traveling out of the country for a couple of weeks. We are working on future dates which will appear on our website as they are confirmed.
Are you planning on releasing new music soon?
We have been writing a lot these last few months and previewed a few of our new songs on tour this summer. We will be going into the studio to record those soon. We also have a few songs already recorded that we will be releasing this Fall.
How would you describe your overall sonic sound to new listeners?
Our music is country layered with pop elements. We strive for the quality of our voices to shine through the production of our songs through an authentic unmanufactured sound.
Can UK fans expect to see you over here soon?
If the opportunity arises we would absolutely love to come over! That is a dream of ours and something we are hoping for in the future!
