EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE: CILVR’s new single, ‘Bound to Die’

Following up swiftly from her debut single ‘Hideaway’, CILVR is ready to showcase her musical talents once more on new single, ‘Bound to Die’

CILVR is an independent musician from Stockholm, Sweden. She introduced herself into the music industry with breath-taking debut single, ‘Hideaway’ and things haven’t been the same since for the Stockholm songstress. Working hard on her craft, CILVR is ready to follow-up from her debut with the new single, ‘Bound to Die’.

‘Bound to Die’ is a straight-talking pop track, with CILVR pouring out her heart poetically within the song’s lyrics,

“Echoes from the places we’ve been, slowly growing under my skin / You and I, we were Bound to Die”.

CILVR also pays tribute to America’s sweetheart, Lana Del Rey as the second verse kicks in, “I try to keep my head high but left like in Lana in the summertime”, referring to Lana Del Rey’s hit single, ‘Summertime Sadness’.

Raised up in a musical family, CILVR has found the perfect combination between her musical roots and electronic elements to create a unique indie-pop sound of her own. Speaking on the making of her new single, CILVR explains:

Bound to Die was written in a small city in the North of Sweden. It’s about a breakup and the feelings you have when you’re trying to move on from something. The song paints a picture of the feeling when you’ve decided to separate but still need each other.”

If you’re looking for a new Scandinavian pop artist to fall in love with, look no further than CILVR. We’d describe her music and artistry as vocals like Billie Eilish with a Lykke Li production twist, all rounded off in a unique CILVR way.

CILVR’s latest single, ‘Bound to Die’ is available on all platforms now.
