AKA George is having a fantastic 2018 so far, the rising star has just signed a lucrative publishing deal with Blue Raincoat Music, and has also been confirmed to play Dot To Dot Festival, along with headlining the Hoxtan Bar and Kitchen in May.
So far his music videos have amassed over 30 million views on YouTube and now he is back with the official clip for his latest single ‘Manic Machine’. AKA George shot to fame several years ago thanks to his creative cover of Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams’ global smash-hit ‘Get Lucky’, but he recently turned down the chance to work with Pharrell and Nile Rodgers stating “it was all moving too quickly” as the reasoning behind his bold decision.
Despite finding fame via his covers, AKA Gearge decided to take a step back rather than bask in his new found celebrity. He took time out to work on his own original music and in February of this year he returned with new single ‘Manic Machine‘. The track is an energetic, bold pop classic feeling song.
