‘7 Minutes In Heaven’ is the latest single release from fast rising teen star Bailey Tomkinson. Tomkinson first burst onto the scene bacn in the summer of 2018 with the release of her sensational EP ‘Hey Ace’ and her latest offering is beautiful marriage of folk, country and pop sounds similar to that of Danielle Bradbery and RaeLynn.
With lush, warm vocals and her undeniable ability to work trippy pop hooks so effortlessly into her Country songs, Bailey is a real standout talent of the genre right now.
Speaking about her musical influences, Bailey says: “I’ve grown up listening to Taylor Swift so she’s a big influence, obviously very relatable to a teenage girl. But I also admire her for willingness to experiment and innovate with style, that she wanted to expand the ‘box’. I really admire Kacey Musgraves for the same reason. I listen to Sinatra. I love John Denver because he’s my Grandad’s favourite. Also Sam Cooke, Madonna, Abba, Cindy Lauper, Jewel….”
And now the Cornwall based artist is ready to share her ‘7 Minutes In Heaven’ music video which we are delighted to bring you the world exclusive premiere of.
Speaking about the clip, the singer says: “We had a great time shooting the video, it was shot in Bristol and directed by my friend and hugely talented emerging filmmaker Rory Ahanan. We wanted to capture the aftermath of a great party…so we had a great party and then filmed after it!”
