Her last single ‘Surrender With Strength‘ included a stunning feature video that gained the musician coveted awards at ‘The Accolade Global Film Competition’ and the ‘Best Shorts’ film festival in LA. The track was produced by Liam Howe, and shows an edge to Giovanna, with her ethereal vocal creating a haunting topline to the delicate, powerful instrumental of strings, piano, and electronic blips.
Now, the star returns with her new single ‘Can’t Go Back’ which is a gorgeously pared-back, ballad that underlines her incredible ability to convey the kind of emotion befitting of a young romance. Once again it is the presence of multiple instruments that offer a unique musical style and a languid 90s-era backbone to balance Giovanna’s powerful vocal and evocative lyrics.
