Tomorrow (Friday, August 30th) country-rock sensation Jesse Lopez will release his brand new single ‘Wild’. The track follows on from his debut hit ‘That Smile’ which paved the way for the rising star to perform the track on three news stations, appearing on the nationally syndicated radio show The Ty Bentli Show, along with a video placement on The Heartland Network and numerous radio station visits across the country.
Lopez’s songwriting is seeped in his natural Mexican-Italian charm along with a flair of the Nashville writer. His tracks are reminiscent of Kane Brown, Luke Combs and Eric Church making him a real standout on the country scene right now.
But it’s not been all plain sailing for Jesse Lopez, whose success has been hard-fought after the singer overcome homelessness and alcoholism in order to achieve his dream of becoming a full time musican.
Speaking about his new single ‘Wild’, Jesse says: “Wild is actually a true story between [my wife] Kailen and myself and how we fell in love with each other. We met working as servers at FGL House in downtown Nashville! From the countless hours talking on the couch to the playful interest at work, it really does paint the picture of where and how our relationship started. Fun fact! Wild was actually a rewrite of another song called, “What’d I Do To Deserve This” , that I had written for Kailen before we got married.”

Talking about his wife’s involvement in the making of the clip, Jesse Lopez says: “Having my wife on set is actually a lot of fun! It is so cool to see her in my world, on my side of the camera for a change. And she’s such a natural! I will admit, though.. she does still make me a little nervous…”
