Earnest yet confident, singer/songwriter Matt Taelor has always continued to write catchy pop/rock tracks based on his own personal experiences and a desire to tell a compelling story. The rising star was born on November 13th, 1994 in Stamford, CT. It was here, that from the age of just three, Matt discovered his passion for music.
With little fear, Taelor took to the stage at only four-years-old, performing his first song in front of audience of over 1000 at a rodeo. This experience fuelled his massive passion and commitment to becoming an artist. And by the time he had turned 14, he was an experienced vocalist and guitarist, and began penning his own songs.
Those who know Matt Taelor personally recognised his talent for music, and he describes his sound as a blend of singer/songwriter, pop and alternative rock. His debut 6-track EP ‘After Midnight‘ is out now.
And now he is back with with his brand new single ‘Nobody But You’ which will be released tomorrow (April 26th). Speaking about the track, Matt says: “I’m really excited for people to hear this new song. The melody for this one came to me in the car and I ended up writing the whole thing in about ten minutes. I got to record it out in Los Angeles and it sounds completely different than anything I’ve ever recorded.”
