Fast rising RnB/Pop artist Ryan Whitman is gearing up for the release of his eagerly anticipted debut EP ‘Body Heat’ which will be dropping on June 22nd and promises to be one of the biggest Indie hits of the year.
But before fans can get their hands on the full record, Whitman has shared his brand new single ‘If You Really Want To’ which is a song that encourages listeners to embrace their truth and live a life that brings them joy. It also reassures people yearning to embrace “other lifestyles” that the power lies withing themselves to find their true selves.
Ryan is based in Manhattan and has been passionate about music his whole life. He began playing piano aged 5, and quickly developed a love for Jazz, with his love soon growing to encompass RnB and soul.
And his debut EP ‘Body Heat; is a combination of tracks that explore the complexities of relationships, self-assurance and self acceptance. His out of the box personal style and rejection of current trends and stereotypes is a reflection of who he is as an artist and person and the message of his music: empowerment, individuality and hope.
