Let It All Out is a redemption song, a song about owning up to your mistakes and letting go of the worries that you can associate with them. Growing up in different parts of the world, Samuel says he “kept a little bit of everywhere with me”, hence the gospel influences from his time in Johannesburg.
When making the video for this song, Samuel Jack said he wanted to focus on the idea of the ‘congregation’ – not so much in a religious form, but in the spiritual and community sense that he felt in the small townships growing up.
