After a two-year break from making and releasing music, singer/songwriter Sonali is finally back with a brand new sound and outlook on life. Two years ago the pop/folk songstresses career was just starting to take-off but she had to put her promising career on the back burner after health issues started to negatively affect her. In 2015 just as she was about to embark on a tour Sonali was unfortunately diagnosed with Chronic Lyme Disease.
But, now, two years on she is thankfully on the road to recovery and on that journey she has also expanded her sound. For her new music she has traded in the acoustic guitar for synths and drum machines, and is ready to reintroduce herself to the world.
And she introduces her new musical self with the release of her brand new neon-hued single; ‘Forever’. And we are able to bring you the world exclusive premiere ahead of the singles official release tomorrow (October 27th). Speaking to CelebMix exclusively about her comeback single the rising star says: “‘Forever’ is a little bittersweet in my opinion, because it’s kind of a race against time. It’s a song about being vulnerable and allowing yourself to get carried away in the most magical and perfect moment with someone, even if that moment might be fleeting.”
