After building his reputation as a resident DJ on Parazhit Radio, the world’s biggest online EDM radio station, Pursound is excited to share his own music with the world. He starts his musical journey with his brand new single ‘Without Me’.
Here we speak exclusively to Pursound about the new song, as we bring you the exclusive premiere of the track;
How excited are you to finally be sharing your new single ‘Without Me’ with the world?
Extremely! This song was made with Sky Roses months ago, and while we were writing it, we were both really stoked about the concept and the vibe of the track. It’s been so long since we finished the project and I’m so excited it’s complete.
What is the main inspiration behind the single?
I wrote this just as I was dealing with a breakup. I had just gotten out of the relationship and wasn’t in a great place. To be honest, it was a pretty toxic relationship yet I was still crazy about this person. It was strange and I felt surrounded by a bunch of different emotions. I was extremely self conscious about how it ended and I wasn’t really sure how to accept the fact that it was over. I really think the vocals and composition capture what I was trying to convey in this track.
What do you hope listeners take from the track?
I really hope people can relate to this and turn to it if they’re in a rough spot in a relationship or coming out of one. The whole point of my music is to be as emotional and atmospheric as possible while maintaining energy, so I really hope that gets across as well.
Can we expect an album from you soon?
Honestly, I’m not sure. I’m sitting on a lot of music currently and I’m not too sure how I want to release it. We will see!
Do you have any touring plans lined up?
Unfortunately, I don’t. I would absolutely love to get on the road though and meet some fans and play some shows soon.
Will you be releasing a music video for ‘Without Me’ soon?
Unfortunately, I will not be.
