Today (June 30th), our favourite Geordie, Cheryl Tweedy turns 35! She will be celebrating her big day surrounded by love, laughter and lots of fun as she spends the day with her loved ones and of course her adorable baby boy, Bear.
And to celebrate Chezza’s birthday fans AKA Soldiers have been raising money for the kindhearted singer/performer and L’Oreal Paris Ambassador’s charitable foundation Cheryl’s Trust. The trust was officially launched by the former X Factor judge back in 2014 and is in partnership with the Prince’s Trust.
A youth centre was officially opened earlier this year in Cheryl’s beloved hometown of Newcastle and has so far helped hundreds of young people get their lives on track with much needed support. The centre aims to help more than 5,000 youngsters over the course of the next three years and the ‘Fight For This Love’ hitmaker is hoping to open the Cheryl’s Trust youth centres across the country in the coming years.

And today, fans have raised more than £500 for the Trust. Kindhearted supporters raised the money after a fundraising page was set up by a fan with the aim of raising £500 for the charity in celebration of Cheryl’s birthday. Donations are still being taken and so far £575 has been raised. The page will remain open for two more days and you are able to support the cause by donating via the official page.
