Steps star Faye Tozer and actor Danny John-Jules are the latest additions to the Strictly Come Dancing 2018 line up.

Earlier this morning, Katie Piper was revealed as this year’s first contestant. During tonight’s episode of The One Show, it was time to confirm two more stars.

Faye was the first to be revealed. Best known for being one-fifth of Steps, Faye continues to enjoy great success with the band. During their career so far, they’ve achieved 14 top five singles, three number one albums, sold 20 million record and sold out seven national arena tours. She has also performed in stage shows including Singing in the Rain, and Over the Rainbow.

Speaking about taking part in Strictly, Faye said: “I can’t wait to get in the costumes. The swishy skirts and fabulous fringing encrusted with crystals… It’s a big yes from me!”

Also confirmed during tonight’s The One Show was actor Danny John-Jules, best known for his role as Cat in Red Dwarf. Over the years he has also starred in the BBC series Death in Paradise in addition to a number of theatre productions including Cats and Starlight Express. During his downtime, Danny is a keen motorcyclist.

Speaking about his new challenge, Danny said: “Having spent the last few months on two wheels motorcycling around South America in pink leathers, I’m absolutely delighted to be getting back on two feet and into something more comfortable like glittery spandex.”
