Back in March, radio and TV presenter Fearne Cotton launched her very own podcast series titled Happy Place. Following on from her top 10 best selling book HAPPY, the podcast sees Fearne, industry experts and fellow celebrities sharing their advice on how to find joy in every day.

Now, Fearne is bringing Happy Place to life with a very special one day event. Taking place at West London’s Sunbeam Studios, the most sustainable event space in London, on Wednesday September 12, Happy Place Live will will focus on the connection between health and happiness.

The intimate event is in association with Vita Coco, and takes place in aid of Mind, the mental health charity which provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem.

What can be expected from Happy Place Live? Wellbeing, health and happiness will be the key themes of the day, as shown through demonstrations, talks and classes. Guests can participate in a yoga class with Zephyr Wildman, a breathing class with Rebecca Dennis, smoothie making sessions, a silent disco, and so much more.

During the day, Fearne will also be in conversation with Dr Pixie McKenna, whilst she will also be recording a live episode of her Happy Place podcast with Davina McCall.

Speaking about the event, Fearne said: “I am so thrilled and excited to announce the date for the first Happy Place Live event. The day is designed for people to experience some activities and sessions which will leave them feeling connected, calm and a little bit happier.

“Working with Vita Coco has been a brilliant experience as their values and outlook match with what Happy Place stands for – finding the good in things and supporting great causes. Plus I’m really pleased to be supporting Mind, the mental health charity, with our ticket sales from the event.

“I just hope that everyone enjoys the day and takes at least one thing away that they can use to make their life a little bit calmer and better.”

Giles Brook, CEO of event partner Vita Coco stated: “As a brand we are passionate about helping consumers live healthier & happier lifestyles. For us Happy Place fits perfectly with our brand values and so we’re delighted to be getting involved.”

Paul Farmer, Chief Executive of Mind, added: “We’re delighted that Fearne has chosen Mind to benefit from the ticket sales at Happy Place Live. At Mind, we provide and advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem but it is only thanks to kind donations and fundraising initiatives like this that we are able to continue that work. We are hugely grateful to Fearne for her continued dedication as a Mind ambassador and very much look forward to this exciting event.”

Only 150 people will be able to attend the intimate Happy Place Live event, and you can enter for your chance to attend here.
