Fifth Harmony’s 7/27 was met with overall positive reviews (you can read our review of the album “Celebrating Girl Power At Its Highest Form” by clicking here) and has luckily met the same fate on international charts. While some countries have yet to release their album placements, others have already showcased their numbers.
For example, on the Australian, Swedish, Scottish, Taiwanese, Irish, Korean, New Zealand, Dutch, and Belgian charts, the girl groups album hit the top 10! This also includes the U.K (at #6) making it their first top ten album there. Moving on to the Billboard 200 charts, HITS daily double has reported that the album will debut at #4 (but at #3 on Top Album Sales).
According to Headline Planet, “Billboard’s final, more authoritative data typically differs slightly from that reported by Hits, but the discrepancy may not change the hierarchy”. Nonetheless, it looks like the girl group will be receiving their second consecutive top 5 album.
This achievement will make Fifth Harmony the first girl group this decade to have two top 5 albums on the Billboard 200 chart.
Their debut single from the album, ‘Work From Home’ has also done wonderfully worldwide, recently being certified double platinum by the official RIANZ (New Zealand) charts.
Stay tuned to find out Fifth Harmony’s final official placement on the Billboard 200 chart!
