Fifty Shades of Grey had garnered a lot of attention for its sensuous and erotic content. The original movie starred Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan. It received mixed reviews from its viewers but has still been able to break numerous box office records and make a huge success. In fact, the sequels of this movie are scheduled to be released in February 2017 and 2018.
Interestingly, apart from producing original or adapted movies, the movie industry is also famous for producing remakes and parodies. Thus, when Twilight can have a parody, Fifty Shades of Grey could not have been left behind. This movie is also being remade into a parody named Fifty Shades of Black. Whether it is also followed by two parody sequels is yet to be seen.
Fifty Shades of Black, being a parody would include lighter moments than the original movie and would be categorized as a comedy rather an erotic drama. It is scheduled to be released on the 29th of January 2016 in North America.
This movie is being directed by Haunted House and Haunted House 2 director, Michael Tiddes. It would be quite exciting for the audiences to see how Tiddes who has mostly directed horror movies fares with a comedy.
Marlon Wayans would be essaying the role of Christian. Wayans has been previously seen in movies like Scary Movie, Haunted House and Requiem for a Dream. He is mostly noted for his comical essaying of characters and the audience has high expectations from him as Christian. The movie also features Kali Hawk who has been essaying important roles in short films, documentaries, television series like New Girl and movies like Answer This!, Bridesmaids and Couples Retreat. Jane Seymour and Fred Williard join as supporting cast.
