Wonder
Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson star in WONDER, an inspiring and heart-warming story of Auggie Pullman (Jacob Tremblay), a young boy with a rare facial deformity, who after previously being unable to attend mainstream school, becomes the most unlikely of heroes when he enrols in the local fifth grade. As his family, new classmates, and larger community all struggle to find their compassion and acceptance, Auggie’s extraordinary journey will unite them all and prove you can’t blend in when you were born to stand out.
One to watch with the family, Wonder is kind, charming and genuinely affecting, a feel-good movie to warm up your weekend.
Paddington 2
Lead by a phenomenal cast including Julie Walters, Hugh Grant and Hugh Bonneville, this sequel to Paddington is, dare we say it, even funnier than the first.
Now settled in London and living with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens, Paddington (voice of Ben Whishaw) has begun building a reputation as an upstanding member of his new community. After spotting a unique pop-up book which he thinks will be a perfect present for his Aunt Lucy, the book is suddenly stolen and Paddington and the rest of the Brown family must work together in order to catch the thief and recover the book.
Justice League
If superhero action-adventure is your thing, then Justice League is the one for you this Easter.
Fuelled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince (Wonder Woman), to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat – step forward Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash – but it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Baywatch
The action comedy reboot of the classic US television series Baywatch starring Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario will make your belly hurt even more from laughing than just feeling sick from chocolate!
Tasked with protecting the beaches of Florida, Mitch Buchanan (Johnson) is forced to accept brash newcomer and disgraced former Olympian Matt Brody (Efron) into his dedicated team of lifeguards. However, when a dead body suddenly turns up on their patch, the pair are forced to put aside their differences and work together in a bid to uncover a criminal plot.
Battle of the Sexes
BATTLE OF THE SEXES tells the electrifying true story of the revolutionary 1973 tennis match between women’s world champion Billie Jean King (Emma Stone) and former men’s champ Bobby Riggs (Steve Carell).
A slick and fun watch, featuring great performances from both actors, Battle of the Sexes follows the story of the tennis match that caught the zeitgeist and sparked a global conversation on gender equality, spurring on the feminist movement, which animated the discussions between men and women in bedrooms and boardrooms around the world.
Despicable Me 3
Minions. Cute little yellow minions – that almost resemble Easter chicks! Need we say more?
The third Despicable Me movie again starring Steve Carell and Kristin Wiig, follows Gru after he is fired from the Anti-Villain League for failing to take down the latest bad guy to threaten humanity. Gru finds himself in the midst of a major identity crisis, but when a mysterious stranger shows up to inform Gru that he has a long-lost twin brother—a brother who desperately wishes to follow in his twin’s despicable footsteps—one former super-villain will rediscover just how good it feels to be bad.
Breathe
Andrew Garfield (Hacksaw Ridge) and Claire Foy (The Crown) star in this warm, funny and uplifting true story. BREATHE follows the life of Robin Cavendish (Garfield), a handsome, brilliant and adventurous man whose life takes a dramatic turn when polio leaves him paralyzed. Also starring Tom Hollander and Hugh Bonneville, this heart-warming drama follows the couple as they find a way to live a full and passionate life.
