Today, Netflix debuted the first full trailer for its mysterious series “13 Reasons Why”. With Selena Gomez as the series’ executive director, the trailer has already created a buzz among the netizens.
The harrowing plot of 13 Reasons Why revolves around a boy named Clay Jensen who, as he returns to his home, finds a mysterious box full of tapes.The tapes belong to Hannah Baker (Katherine Langford), a girl who dies mysteriously by suicide.
Through the tapes, she narrates her story and reasons as to how and why she died. She gives 13 reasons behind her death and says that whoever is listening to her story is one of the reasons.
So, is Clay responsible for Hanna’s death?
The series is based on the best selling novel by Jay Asher. Published by Penguin books, the book first came out in 2007.
Comprising of 13 episodes, 13 Reasons Why is set to make its global launch on Friday, 31st March, 2017.
