Five Best One Direction Covers in History

In the past five years, One Direction has done numerous covers. Back then on the X Factor days, during their concerts and at other special events. All of them have a special place in our hearts.

In honour of the #HistoryDay, we’ve decided to pick our five favourite 1D covers. It was really hard to choose, however, we made it and you can watch the covers below!

    5. VIVA LA VIDA

The boys sang Coldplay‘s hit “Viva La Vida” during being on the X Factor, on 9th October 2010. It was one of their first ever performances. It’s wonderful to see how they’re enjoying it! The reaction of the audience was also incredible.

    4. UPTOWN FUNK

They covered “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars back at the first show of the On The Road Again tour in Sydney, Australia. They absolutely smashed it and we loved it!

    3. FOURFIVESECONDS

In the beginning of November 2015, the boys were at BBC Radio 1‘s Live Lounge. They performed some of the songs of their new album Made In The A.M. and they also covered two songs and “FourFiveSeconds” by Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney was one of them.

    2. TEENAGE DIRTBAG

One of the memorable things from the Take Me Home tour. One Direction included Wheatus‘ Teenage Dirtbag in their official tour setlist. Doesn’t matter if you were apart of one of the shows or not, it killed us all and it still does.

    1. TORN

This is definitely the most important cover of the boys. It was their very first performance since they were put together as a band. In autumn 2010, they performed “Torn” by Natalie Imbruglia during the Judge’s Houses round of the X Factor. They also sang it in the X Factor final and in November 2015, they surprised the fans by performing the song during the Live Lounge (we have to admit we’ve sort of missed Zayn’s voice in it, though).

Tell us what are your favourite covers of the boys! You can hit us up on Twitter (@CelebMix and @CelebMix1D) or you can leave a comment below!
