Five Reasons Why Little Mix Should Represent The U.K. At Eurovision

Filled with loud cheering, confetti and massive country representation, Eurovision happens to be one of the worlds greatest competitions – music wise.

With it’s addition of Australia last year, diversity is now more greater than ever. Both old and existing artists have entered to represent their country but only one can go on to sing at Eurovision.

That being said, we firmly believe U.K. girl group Little Mix to be a sturdy entrant placement.

Sure they may have been on a reality TV show (X-F actor), but they won that show because the public voted and were interested in them as an act. Not only that, they were created by (primarily) former Destiny’s Child member, Kelly Rowland.

Here’s FIVE REASONS why Little Mix should represent British Power at Eurovision!!

One – they are definitely vocally talented. Check out this harmonious acapellas package below. It’ll remove any doubts you have of the group not being able to sing – they’re bloody brilliant.

Two – they’re pretty well known in Europe, Australia and even America where they recently made history on the Billboard charts – being the only girl group to have their first three studio albums debut in the top 13 of the charts. Click here for the juicy chart info!

Three – having the girls enter the competition could add more interest for the girl group and turn them into absolute global superstars (not saying that they aren’t already – but entering a contest like Eurovision could really elevate their status as a group).

Four – their demographic has gotten wider especially with their recent release of ‘Black Magic’ and their third album, Get Weird. In fact, ‘Black Magic’ was certified Platinum in the U.K. and is the first platinum selling girl group single since The Pussycat Dolls’ Jai Ho (2009).

Five – you get four for the price of one – yes we already talked about them being amazing singers but they each bring something unique to the table, sound wise. Give them a ballad or a massive dance track and these girls will bewitch and enchant the judges with their voices.

Again, we don’t know yet who the U.K. will choose as their Eurovision representative but just giving out our big recommendation here!

Why do you think Little Mix should represent the U.K. at Eurovision? Do you agree with our five reasons?
