It has been two years since Fleur East became a singing sensation during her time on the UK X Factor! The 29-year-old was mentored by Simon Cowell on the 2014 series of the ITV talent show and eventually finished in second place behind fellow team Cowell member Ben Haenow.
Since the X Factor ended Fleur East has signed to Simon Cowell’s Sony Music record label Syco, and released the massive top-five hit single ‘Sax‘, and the top 20 hit album ‘Love, Sax and Flashbacks‘.
But since 2015, East has been rather quiet apart from launching her very own clothing line with online retailer Lipsy, and there has been very little sign of any new music from the star, but now she is officially back in the recording studio and is hard at work on her second LP.
The former X Factor singer tweeted a studio selfie to her 259K followers, with the caption: “You just wait”.

The hitmaker also thanked her fans for being “patient”.
Thank you to everyone who supports me and my music. I'm working hard to get my best music out for you all. Thanks for being patient. ?????
