Maisie Smith is best known for her role as Tiffany Butcher in the BBC 1 soap EastEnders, but the young star has now launched a career in pop music.
Maisie was just 6-years-old when she joined EastEnders as Bianca Jackson’s daughter, she left the show back in 2014 after she and the Butcher/Jackson clan were written out of the soap.
And now after a two-year-break from the limelight, Maisie Smith who is now aged 15, is back with a brand new look and career.
She has launched a career in pop music with her debut single ‘Good Thing’.
The track is a fun and upbeat pop song that makes you want to get up and dance. Smith’s vocals are strong and clear, and if this release is anything to go by then she certainly has a great chance of a successful career in music.
The 15-year-old actress turned singer spoke to the Daily Mirror about the launch of her singing career saying: “I’ve always wanted to make a cool pop record that people could relate to, dance to and feel good listening to. By teaming up with my producer Darren Martyn to make ‘Good Thing’, I feel like we achieved that. I am so excited to finally let people hear it.”
Despite releasing an official audio of the uptempo dance track, a release date for the debut single from Maisie Smith has yet to be announced.
