It was the song that won Little Mix the X Factor back in 2011 and it has now been revived for one night only.
‘Cannonball‘ originally by Damon Rice, was covered by the girl group during the final of the singing competition and went on to become their first number 1 single in the UK.
While performing in Paris, France as part of their ‘Get Weird Tour,’ the room full of ecstatic mixers began belting out the lyrics to the ballad and although they were the main stars of the performance, the band did sing a few words here and there.
The impromptu performance was actually organised by French mixers as they collectively held up signs at a specific point during the show, requesting that the Little Mix ladies listen to what they were singing.
It was a beautiful surprise and it was obvious from their reactions that they appreciated the work the fans put in to make it happen during their first ever concert in the city. We have to admit, hearing the crowd sing the song so passionately caused a few tears to roll down our cheeks.
