Pop Idol’s Gareth Gates and Coronation Street’s Faye Brookes are joining forces and launching a new performing arts academy together in Manchester.
The cleverly named ‘Fates Academy’, will be opening at Media City, Salford, which is actually only a short walk away from the Coronation Street studios, meaning that Faye will be spending a lot of time at the academy.
Fates Academy will help develop young performers’ skills, teaching them singing, acting and dancing. With the success of Gareth and Faye, they will be in very capable hands. Faye recently won the Best Newcomer at the 2017 National Television Awards, and Gareth has had a string of hits and a very successful theatre career.
The academy will be based at University Technical College and will provide weekly classes to three different age groups. 5 to 8 years old, 9-12 years old and 13-18 years old. The classes will be every Tuesday from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
