It’s finally here! US singer-songwriter Gavin Haley has just released his debut EP and we cannot wait to stream it all day and night long.
His new record is titled “Long Game”. It features 8 tracks, including 5 brand new ones and the previously released collaboration with indie sensation Ella Vos. “Long Game” is an EP that perfectly summarizes Gavin’s talent for creating pop songs with an incredible amount of personal depth. It is what many would describe as meaningful pop.
Over the course of the EP, Gavin opens up about life’s hardships while still maintaining a sense of hope for his listeners. He tackles and explores universal issues such as love and loss as well as intimate takes on growing up and the way those life lessons have influenced him.
Musically, “Long Game” is chilled indie at its core mixed with pointed pop moments. The songs blend together and form a coherent bond while still managing to shine individually. Standout hits for us have been the superb “like u for real” and the latest release “Long Game”.
