Harry Styles is on the brink of a rebirth in the entertainment industry and as massive fans, there’s nothing we want more. His debut solo single ‘Sign of the Times’ charted at number one and has drawn in a new audience around the world. His second song, ‘Ever Since New York’ which he played for the first time live on SNL, struck a chord with longtime fans in showing a new vulnerable side of his persona. While we’re still waiting on that to be released on iTunes – hint hint – we’ve been watching the performance on repeat.
Harry’s self-titled debut album is set to be released on May 12th, and he’s still got a music video for SOTT on the way. So you may be asking, what more could we desire from Harry? Well, since the boys have taken their hiatus – we miss them. So, we’d love to be seeing more of him, and it looks like we’re about to get what we want in a big way.
James Corden released a YouTube video via The Late Late Show Twitter account that has made us all insanely excited for the week of May 15th.
Yep! You heard correctly. We will be seeing Harry Styles on The Late Late Show with James Corden and not just as a musical guest – he’ll be helping host the show for an entire week. Excuse us while we try to handle this excitement.
The pair joked about Harry wanting to stay someplace that felt like home, and not, he didn’t mean at James’ house. There’s something about that Late Late Show sofa. James set some ground rules for Harry crashing at the studio and one of them meant that James WILL be doing the singing. Harry shrugged it off, but we can’t blame him. Have you heard the pipes on James?
James and Harry are absolutely incredible together. They always make us laugh, like during their game of ‘you hang up first’ – but James is also someone that all of the One Direction boys have felt comfortable with. He’s a friend to them first, and then a peer in the entertainment industry. We’re excited that Harry will be spending so much time with James that week, and that we’ll get to see it.
What do you think Harry will be doing around the set during the week of May 15th? Tweet us and let us know.
